Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dr Lundberg was very nice, knowledgeable, and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. This was my first time at this practice and I was totally pleased with my experience. My entire family goes here. We receive exceptional care from the entire staff. From patience in helping my pre-teen son in his fitting for contacts to helping select my eye ware they are phenomenal.
Services
Dr. Pamela D. Lundberg is a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
She started Lundberg Vision Center in Williamsburg in 1994 with a concentration on customer service and quality products.
That foundation still exists today.
Dr. Lundberg is an InfantSEE(R) provider, the eye care provider for Eastern State Hospital and a volunteer provider for Olde Towne Medical Center.
A charter member and past-president of the James City Lions Club, she participates in vision screenings for Headstart and James City County Schools and provides eye exams and eyeglasses to those in need who are referred through her Lions Club.
Comprehensive examination of the eye provides a thorough assessment of the eyes and visual system, expert analysis, and personalized care.
Examination of the eye can find signs of serious illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke, and autoimmune disorders, as well as risks for vision loss such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Adults at risk for eye disease and/or loss of vision should have their eyes examined more frequently.
At Williamsburg Eye Care, we provide the highest quality Optometry services to all of our patients.
The eyes and visual system are extremely important during formative years.
It's estimated that more than 70% of learning is processed through the visual system.
Additionally, approximately one in five preschool children have vision problems with one in four school-age children wearing some form of corrective lenses.
Eye and vision disorders can significantly impact a child's normal development.
Early recognition is extremely important and critical to school performance, social interactions and self-esteem.
With advancing technology, almost everyone is a candidate for some form of contact lens.
Contact lens options include gas permeable and soft hydrogel lenses.
Depending on your prescription, visual requirements, and desires, contact lens options consist of single vision lenses to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia, or multi-focal lenses to provide distance, intermediate, and near vision while maintaining depth perception.
Wearing schedules consist of daily wear disposable lenses to be replaced each day, every two weeks, monthly or quarterly.
The doctors at Williamsburg Eye Care can provide options to manage or slow the progression of myopia.
We believe that with early intervention, the long-term eye health risks associated with myopia can be reduced.
Myopia is a focusing disorder, not an eye disease.
Why is Myopia progression important?
As myopia progresses it can increase the risk of eye disease and loss of vision.
Over the past 50 years the percentage of Americans with myopia has increased from 25% to more than 40%, increasing at an alarming rate, especially for school-aged children.
