Carofano Opticians of New Haven has been serving the community for over 60 years. Our founder James 'Jimmy' Carofano began his optical career after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Before starting Carofano Opticians in 1955, he began his career making glasses at Michaels Jewelers in Downtown New Haven. Today, Carofano Opticians of New Haven prides itself on curating beautiful, well-crafted eyewear, continuing our dedication to providing the community high-quality service for all of your vision needs.
Until further notice, we are moving our business to by-appointment-only. This means that we are still going to be here for all of your vision needs, but we will be making appointments to cut down on traffic in our shop.
