A comprehensive eye examination is much more than just a vision screening.
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, comprehensive eye exams include a series of tests to evaluate the overall health of your eyes.
Regular eye exams are important because by diagnosing problems early, we have the best chance of preserving your eyesight.
Dr. Andrews will ask you questions about your overall health, your eye health history, your work, your family history, and the amount of time you spend using screens.

We offer a complete collection of designer and high-quality frames and lenses at Andrews Eyecare Center and our board-certified optometrists make the process of selecting the right style for you a breeze.
We believe that accuracy is more important than speed or convenience when it comes to glasses; online glasses simply cannot match the quality of those made by our lab and "while you wait" eyeglasses aren't worth even a short wait.

Glaucoma is an eye disease that often occurs as the result of pressure inside the eye, causing erosion of the optic nerve tissue.
If left untreated, glaucoma can lead to vision loss or blindness, which is why early diagnosis is important.
Also known as chronic glaucoma, the only noticeable symptom of open-angle glaucoma is gradual loss of vision.
Because the vision loss is so slow, you may suffer permanent damage before you suspect a problem.
This is the most common type of glaucoma.
Angle-closure glaucoma, or acute glaucoma, is an eye care emergency caused by the rapid buildup of fluid in the eye, resulting in pressure that causes severe pain, blurred vision, brow pain and nausea.
