Dr. Lewis Bliss has been in private practice in the Sacramento area since 1986, treating thousands of patients for eye disease and performing thousands of ophthalmic surgeries.
Dr. Bliss graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas, Medical Branch and completed his internship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation Hospitals in New Orleans.
He then returned to the University of Texas, Medical Branch to complete his residency in ophthalmology.
Dr. Bliss is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

I also have difficulty understanding the terminology used by doctors when the are explaining my problem and follow up care.

He talked facing me in a tone I could hear and gave explanations of my problem in a way I could understand and took time to clarify my understanding.
I explained that I need reading glasses but I was a fall risk using my prescription glasses with bi-focal lens so had purchased another pair just for distance.
