Dr. Suzanne Holmes is a Guntersville native.
She graduated from Guntersville High School in 1987 and from there went on to Birmingham-Southern.
Dr. Holmes attended UAB School of Optometry and graduated in 1995, moving her family back to Marshall County.
She began working at the practice, formerly Long, Roberson, and Carboni, in 2000, and purchased the practice from Dr. Long in 2001.
In the summer of 2018, the practice relocated to Guntersville's historic Southtown.
Dr. Holmes stays busy with her practice, two children, and hobbies.
