Are you bored of the same old styles of glasses you see at chains and big box stores? Have you had a disappointing experience with other optometrists in the past? Do you hate shopping for glasses and are in need of styling advice and professional expertise? Here at Collierville Vision Center, our clients have made the journey from eyewear being a hassle and pain to a positive talking point and something they enjoy.

Every day, we help clients make this journey and find glasses that look good and feel great. We bring you individual and exclusive eyewear from around the world, made by independent manufacturers that you won't find in the big box stores. Our eyewear specialists (qualified dispensing optometrists) not only address the technical side of correcting your vision, we also use our years of experience to make your eyewear work with your personal sense of style.

We take the time to get to know each and every one of our customers, so we can bring to life the unique vision you have in mind for your eyewear.
Services
Parents and teachers often incorrectly assume that if a child passes a school vision screening that the child does not have an eye problem.
A child with 20/20 vision can still have a serious vision problem that will affect academic performance, but that same child will usually pass a vision screening.
School vision screenings or those done in pediatricians offices only test visual acuity (sharpness or clarity).
They generally do not test for things like ocular motility, depth perception and focusing ability which are vital components of vision needed for successful learning.
Even though glasses are a necessity for most people, we want that necessity to provide superior vision, comfort, durability and style.
We use the latest lens technology to provide clear and comfortable vision.
We have a wide selection of high quality frames for all shapes and sizes.
We will take extra time with you to help you find eyewear that is just right for you.
Since I'm a small, independent business, I have always preferred working with small, independent frame companies.
I like to know the story behind each brand of eyewear that I carry, and I plan to share those stories with you in upcoming newsletters.
We offer a wide selection of contact lenses including soft multifocals, monovision, toric lenses for astigmatism and single vision lenses.
Whether you wear daily, monthly, or weekly disposable lenses we have options for you.
We will determine the type of lens you need based on your lifestyle needs, your unique eye shape and health.
We have sample lenses of most brands in the office and most customers will leave the same day with a trial lens.
We offer a 90 day follow up period for all lenses so that you have time to decide which lens works best for you.
But there is also a great deal of responsibility that comes with wearing contact lenses that many teens just do not realize.
Lenses must be treated with care, and properly maintained.
Prescriptions must be current, and lenses must properly fit.
And since teenagers are still growing and developing, it is especially important for them to have regular eye exams with an optometrist.
While some optometrists will recommend contact lenses for patients as young as 8 years old, most eye doctors recommend holding off till ages 11 to 14.
We are conveniently located in the heart of Collierville off of Byhalia Rd in the same shopping complex as Cheers and Cajun Catfish Co.
We work by appointment only for eye exams and consultations, but you are welcome to drop by anytime to browse through our large selection of independent eyewear and sunglasses.
At Collierville Vision Center, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need.
Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community.
