Dr. John D. Corrow completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Binghamton University in upstate New York.
He went on to receive his Doctorate in Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City.
While there he had extensive clinical exposure rotating through primary eye care, pediatric eye care and contact lens clinics.
In addition, he received advanced training at a hospital based externship in the VA Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware and at an ocular disease externship at Aran Eye Associates referral center in Miami, Florida.
He went on to receive his Doctorate in Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City.
While there he had extensive clinical exposure rotating through primary eye care, pediatric eye care and contact lens clinics.

He then went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.
He completed his externships in primary care optometry at Martha Elliot Community Health Center in Jamaica Plain, MA and Newport Naval Health Clinic in Newport, RI.
Additionally, he completed diverse ocular disease training at the Dorchester Health Center in Dorchester, MA and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northampton, MA.
He then went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.
He completed his externships in primary care optometry at Martha Elliot Community Health Center in Jamaica Plain, MA and Newport Naval Health Clinic in Newport, RI.

Dr. Sylvia graduated New England College of Optometry in 1986, is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the college, has a private practice in Cambridge, Ma where he sees patients and trains interns, and joined the Advanced Eye Care Associates practice in 2016.
He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Community Research Initiative in Boston.
He also has an MBA in Healthcare administrative management and marketing.
He has been a member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association since 1982, is a member of the RIOA, a member of the Scleral Lens Society, and has been a research pilot practice in Cambridge for Alcon, Coopervision, Bausch and Lomb, as well as Vistakon, testing new contact lens materials and products.
