For the past 10 years, we have been voted Best of San Joaquin by both the Stockton Record and San Joaquin Magazine. Happy patients have shared their amazing experience in Google Reviews, Yelp Reviews and Facebook. Our cheerful and helpful receptionists will welcome your family to the most friendly and advanced Optometry office in the Stockton area.

Born and raised in Stockton, our Tokay High School sweethearts of Drs. Derron and Leanne Lee, love being able to care for their hometown community. They take the time to get to know you, your eye care history, your occupational and lifestyle visual needs. Our practice prides itself on delivering outstanding eye care with a personal touch. The vibe of the office is fun, welcoming, and educational as we do not double book our appointment slots.

We work as a team to make Midtown Optometry a fun and welcoming environment for all ages. Our Vision Development Center is the largest and most extensive specialty service of Vision Therapy, Vision Rehab, & Sports Vision Enhancement in Stockton and the San Joaquin Valley.
Services
Vision actually develops throughout infancy and early childhood.
Sometimes it doesn't develop properly and help is needed to get the necessary visual skills to function in school, work and in life.
Dr. Leanne Lee founded the Vision Development Center, with one goal in mind - to help children succeed.
Focuses on a variety of eye movement and eye coordination disorders that typically interfere with academic performance.
Whether your child is a bright underachiever, appears to lack motivation, has dyslexia or another learning disability, ADD or other behavioral problems, or has developmental delays, ASD or other special needs, eye movement and eye coordination problems can often contribute to their challenges.
Amblyopia, commonly referred to as "lazy eye, " is a neuro-developmental vision condition that affects up to 10 million people in the United States.
It usually develops in infancy or early childhood, where one eye has poorer vision than the other.
The condition cannot be resolved by eyeglasses, and the weaker eye usually has blurred vision and poor depth perception, making reading and other tasks difficult.
At Midtown Optometry, we have a number of lazy eye treatment options to help correct this condition to minimize the impact it has on daily life.
Midtown Optometry is dedicated to helping you see, no matter your needs, situation, or lifestyle.
Contact lenses provide you with an excellent and convenient way to correct your vision.
There are many different types of contact lenses to suit your needs.
At our San Joaquin County optometry, we'll conduct an in-depth exam of your eyes, your vision, and your needs, and create a plan that works for you.
Learn about how contact lenses can benefit and give us a call to schedule your appointment.
We look forward to helping you improve your vision in a convenient and affordable way!
During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
A comprehensive eye exam includes a number of tests and procedures to examine and evaluate the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.
These tests range from simple ones, like having you read an eye chart, to complex tests, such as using a high-powered lens to examine the health of the tissues inside of your eyes.
At Midtown Optometry, we bring the latest advancements in the field to San Joaquin County.
One of the newer innovations is digital eye exams.
They are often used in conjunction with traditional eye exams for more accurate results in identifying vision problems.
Digital eye exams use automated tests and computerized sensors that measure your eyes and how they react to light.
The results are computed automatically, allowing your optometrist to analyze the measurements and calculate the prescription strength for your eyeglasses or contact lenses.
