We use the latest technology to provide the most comprehensive and thorough eye care in Murfreesboro, including digital refractions, no "air puff" glaucoma testing, and an option for Optos digital scanning instead of dilation.
Our doctors examine every patient for eye conditions like cataracts and glaucoma, as well as ocular signs of systemic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure.
Our digital instruments allow us to document eye conditions to provide consistent care and help our patients fully understand the results of their examination.
From emergency treatment of red, itchy eyes or foreign objects in the eye, to chronic concerns like dry eye and glaucoma, our doctors provide both natural and prescription treatments for eye conditions.
We understand that everyone's needs are different, and will always recommend the best option for treatment based on your unique condition.
Most medical eye conditions can be evaluated and treated right in our office.
When surgery is needed, we will refer you to the most appropriate specialist and provide pre- and post-operative care at your convenience.
The term "Dry Eye" has been generally applied to a variety of uncomfortable eye surface problems.
The eye feels uncomfortable, but the cause is unknown.
Dry eye symptoms have primarily been thought to be a direct result of the eye's inability to produce the proper amount of natural tears, but we now know that is not the case for many dry eye sufferers.
There are roughly 30 million people in the United States and over 300 million worldwide who have been diagnosed with dry eye.
Most have learned to live with eye discomfort and have become dependent on drops or other treatment methods that only offer temporary relief.
Contact lens technology is always evolving, and now most patients can wear contact lenses as a part-time or full-time alternative to glasses.
Our doctors utilize the latest soft and gas-permeable contact lenses to provide safe and healthy lens wear for patients of all ages and with all prescriptions-- from straightforward to highly complex.
Contact lenses are available for part-time or full-time wear, and can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and are even available to those with bifocals.
