He is a 4th generation Chinese American, born and raised in Honolulu.
After serving over 32 years with the US Army and US Army Reserve, Dr. Lau recently retired from military service with the rank of Colonel.
His community involvement include serving as a Lion, with numerous Chinese societies, state professional organizations, and the Hawaii Board of Examiners in Optometry.
