She is kind, meticulous, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. She uses the most advanced technology to exam your eyes, more sophisticated than found at my visit to my previous ophthalmologist. The office is actually in CVS, right next to the pharmacy and optical. I had brought in my glasses and she actually cleaned it for me. Also, she was thorough with the exam itself, explaining what she was doing and why.
Furthermore, never had a retina screening before but interesting to get an ultrasound for my eyes. We currently accept VSP, Eyemed, MES, Avesis, Tricare, Blue Shield, Spectera, Superior, Medicare, DavisVision, VBA, March Vision and Private Pay.

Medical eye appointments can be made for monitoring for macular degeneration, diabetic or hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, or medical emergencies like flashes, floaters, eye strain/ headaches, vision loss, sudden blur or red eye.
If you have macular degeneration, your eyes should be monitored at least anually; if not, more often.
Dr. Hoang can take macular optical coherence tomography to evaluate for drusen or fluid leaking in between the layers of the retina.
An amsler grid is also recommended to use at home to detect distortion in your vision.
