Our optometrists specialize in all aspects of primary eye care including eye examinations for adults and children, contact lens fittings (including Keratoconus, post refractive surgery and transplants, multifocal contact lens fitting, and those patients who have been told by other doctors that they are "difficult" to fit), and treatment and management of ocular disease and Low Vision.

We also have a full-service optical department to meet all your eyewear needs. Our simple goal is to provide modern eye health care, fashionable, well fitting eye wear, and safe contact lens wear. We want to help you and your family to enjoy a lifetime of good vision.

Previously located on North Dale Mabry for 13 years, Anderson & Chaabra EyeCare Center moved to their current location on Fletcher Avenue in Tampa in December of 1996.

Received his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston in 1980.
He completed his disease residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1981.
One of our main areas of interest at Anderson & Chhabra EyeCare Center is visual rehab of decreased vision related to corneal problems.
Our doctors specialize is correcting vision for corneal conditions such as keratoconus and irregular astigmatism.
This includes corneal transplants, post Lasik ectasia, RK surgery, as well as corneal distortion secondary to trauma or injury.
We work with the latest contact lenses such as scleral, mini-scleral, and the Synergeyes hybrid lenses.
We also provide therapeutic cosmetic contact lenses for disfigured eyes.
Soft contact lenses are made of a material that absorbs a certain amount of water that makes them soft and flexible.
This makes the lens easy to adapt to and comfortable on the eye.
Soft lenses come in a variety of materials and moisture content.
The different properties of each lens are what make each soft contact lens unique in how it may fit or feel on the eye.
Disposable contact lenses are soft lenses made of varying materials having partial water content.
These are designed to be replaced on a regular basis.
