Gold Coast Vision Performance helps connect the dots between proper sight and functional vision through individualized, doctor-directed therapy sessions. Even a child with 20/20 eyesight may not be able to distinguish, process and understand visual information. Vision therapy helps establish a solid foundation for visual skills that are necessary for excellent reading, writing, comprehension and retention.
Adults can develop functional vision problems at any stage of life. Regardless of your age, Gold Coast Vision Performance can provide the treatment you need to restore or enhance functional vision. Athletes rely on visual skills like dynamic visual acuity, eye-hand coordination, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Vision therapy can help athletes hone these skills for improved performance on the field and in the classroom.
Vision is in the brain! It starts with proper eyesight and good ocular health, but requires the visual pathways and brain to work with the structures of the eye to understand, process, and use the information that is seen.
