I was born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley, graduating from Tolt High School in Carnation.
After attending the University of Washington, I went to Pacific University College of Optometry where I graduated second in my class in 1985.
In August of 1986, I took over the Bellevue Vision Source from Dr. Wesley McKenzie after completing my doctorate degree.
