We are a full-scope Optometric Eye Care Center, serving the New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, and Land O' Lakes areas. Excellence in Eye Care, LLC is located inside the Costco, adjacent to the Premium Outlet Mall and you do not need a Costco membership to see the doctor.

Dr. David Scamard, O.D. is an optometrist with more than 20 years of experience. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry Degree from NOVA Southeastern University College of Optometry in 1999.
Dr. Scamard received five Clinical Honors from NOVA Southeastern University.

Services
Patients who are dealing with trauma to the eye, conjunctivitis, or other issues can be seen by the doctor.
If patients have anything in their eyes that need removal, the doctor will be able to assist in doing so.
If a patient needs to come in again after their initial complimentary follow up, they will be charged.
If a patient would like an additional prescription written out, they will be charged.
We are an out-of-network provider with insurance.
We will be happy to provide a detailed receipt for our patients to submit to their insurance company for a reimbursement based off their plan.
