Dr. Bret Wilken grew up in western Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University and graduated with honors from The University of Houston College of Optometry. He practiced as an associate with a large group in Richardson for 8 years and opened his own office with his wife in 2002. He became licensed as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in 2006.

Dr. Stephanie Wilken is a therapeutic optometrist who grew up nearby in Irving, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and graduated from The University of Houston College of Optometry where she earned her doctorate with honors. She began practicing optometry in Highland Park until she and her husband decided to open their own practice in Coppell in 2002.
