He trained at Erie College and began his apprenticeship in 1976 in Albany, New York.
Bob then moved to the Philadelphia area where he managed an eye clinic until 1985.
Bob and Ginny moved to New Hampshire and Bob started at Hill Opticians in 1985.
He worked with Ranald C. Hill until he purchased the business in 1995.
