Mark Melamed graduated from Yale University and New York University School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship at Bellevue Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at NYU Medical Center, where he currently holds the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been in practice in Hewlett, N.Y.
