Since 1989 Burton Optician has established a reputation for stylish frames and superbly ground lenses in a charming and relaxed atmosphere. Owner Virginia Burton has over thirty years of experience and takes care of each customer personally.
In addition to beautiful eyewear, Burton Optician also carries lovely letterpress cards, made the old fashioned way by artisans in Maine and Washington State. After 31 amazing years, Burton Optician has closed. I will miss you all, and I am so grateful for the love you have shown me. However, I have great news! Despite the current economic chaos and corona-craziness, I have found two wonderful women to take care of you!
Oksana Thornton and Farzana Alam are moving into the space at 3252 Prospect Street, NW. Both are highly qualified opticians with nothing but rave reviews from their customers, sales reps, and everyone who has met them, including me.
