We offer personalized care by our board-certified staff ophthalmologist, Dr. Mohammed Elbash, M.D. Come visit the office to learn about advances in cataract surgery, the treatment of dry eyes, and the latest in macular degeneration treatment.

Our Alexandria office is located near the King Street Metro station (Blue and Yellow lines) and the Eisenhower Ave Metro station (Yellow line).
From the King Street Metro bus 29K will take you closest to our office (about a 3 minute ride).

Mohammed Elbash was born and raised in Queens, NewYork.
He attended an Ivy League University where he graduated a member of the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society for his academic excellence.
He went on to attend medical school at Washington University School of Medicine, one of the premier medical centers in the United States.
He performed his ophthalmology residency training at New York Medical College St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in Queens, New York.
Here, he trained numerous ophthalmology residents on how to perform cataract surgery using the latest surgical techniques.

At the ophthalmologist's office you will receive a complete and thorough medical examination of the health of your eyes.
At Premier Eye Center this examination includes a measurement and prescription for eyeglasses.
We accept most major medical insurance plans, which are listed on the right.
Please note that some plans, in particular HMO's, require a referral from your general medical doctor in order to see the ophthalmologist.
You may call us during our normal business hours to schedule an appointment and inquire about our services.
EYE EMERGENCIES: If you are one of our patients and you are having an eye emergency outside of our normal business hours, please follow the phone instructions for emergencies to get in touch with our office.
