Gintien Huang, M.D. was born and raised in Southern California.
He is a board certified ophthalmologist who studied medicine at the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and went on to train at America's oldest specialty hospital, the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he served as chief resident.
He further sub-specialized in medical and surgical glaucoma after completing a fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
