It was founded by optometrist Dr. Thu Tran, who was raised in Friendswood, TX and who is proud to still call this town her home.
Dr. Tran feels very grateful for the quality education and upbringing that she received in Friendswood.

Before meeting Dr. Tran, Hoan practiced law as well as wedding photography in Connecticut, where his mother still resides.
Seeing that the pool of well-trained and seasoned opticians was almost non-existent (who knew?!), Hoan decided to take up classes at San Jacinto College to learn opticianry in order to ensure that Friendswood Vision would always have the highest quality staff available to measure and fit your glasses.
