Hi, my name is M.Edward Guthrie, M.D., or Dr. Peep-Eye as I am known to some of my patients and families. I have been providing pediatric ophthalmology services with a special emphasis on ROP since 2001. I have recently relocated from Broward County to Dade County. I am grateful for professionals like these working with children (and their families). We had to see a pediatric ophthalmologist and we were so lucky find ROP for this purpose. Found us an appointment right away following our visit to urgent care and did a thorough exam of our little one. All staff were courteous and prompt. Dr. Spencer was so good about explaining the process to both myself and my 3 year old. Based on this one appointment alone, I would recommend them without hesitation.

My twin boys Kai and Koi have been under the care of Dr. Guthrie since they were four days old. This Doctor is caring, knowledgeable and has a terrific bedside manner. I would not trust my twins eyes to anyone else. We love his office staff who go out of their way to accommodate their patients. We are extremely fortunate to have The ROP Consultants of Florida team in our lives!
