Dr. Mistie M. Hockman-Haag earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Gannon University in 2005, Cum Laude.
She went on to complete her Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2009.
She received clinical honors from each of her five externship sites specializing in disease, contact lens, low vision, and primary care.
Dr. Hockman-Haag is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and has her therapeutics and glaucoma Pennsylvania Optometry license.
We make every effort to keep down the cost of your eye and vision care.
However, we shall not reduce the quality of the care we render by accepting each and every insurance or discount programs.
We ask that you pay for your eye examination at the time it is done.
If you require eyeglasses or contact lenses, you are asked to make a deposit of at least one-half of the charges at the time the eyewear is ordered and to complete payment when you pick up your glasses or contact lenses.
We see our patients for examination on an appointment basis and respectfully ask that you call in advance so we may reserve time for you.

We try our best to see all of our patients on time and request that you extend the same courtesy to us.
Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting new patients.
If for some reason you cannot keep an appointment for an eye examination, please call our office and notify us as soon as possible.
Comprehensive exams require a 24 hour notice.
We recognize that emergency situations do arise and we shall do everything in our power to respond to your problems as quickly as possible.
If an emergency arises while the office is open, please call as early in the day as possible.
We make special allowances for those patients with emergency needs and you will be seen as quickly as possible.
