Professional Eye Care
Dr. Julie Herron, Dr. Kevin Loesch, and Dr. Kenneth Lameier are independent Doctors of Optometry who lease office space from Walmart. Practicing within a busy supercenter allows them to see a wide variety of patients and eye conditions, giving them valuable experience in providing quality eye care. They are not employees of Walmart, and Walmart does not influence how they provide care.

Since they do not have a financial interest in selling glasses or contact lenses, you can be confident that they will recommend the products that best suit your needs. Being located next to the Walmart Vision Center makes it convenient for you to purchase glasses and contact lenses with the help of Walmart's knowledgeable technicians and licensed opticians.

Walmart has everyday low prices on glasses and contacts so you know you will get a good value as well as convenience. Please call our office at: 859-635-0948 for further instructions. We take most medical insurance plans. Use your best judgment on urgency; if you feel you need to, find the nearest emergency room.

Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs.
We accept the following insurances.
Before scheduling, please check your insurance coverage.
MOST medical insurance plans (such as Anthem, Humana and UHC) do NOT cover routine eye exams.
Please check with your plan to see if you have a separate vision plan (such as Blue View Vision, Eyemed, VSP, Davis Vision, etc.) that you will be using for your eye exam.
Learning about your eye health can be complicated - and might even seem overwhelming at first.
To simplify things for our patients, we present our Eye Health Library, a comprehensive library of vision-related information.
We invite you to browse through our library to find information that will help you better understand how your vision works, common eye conditions, surgeries and how your vision changes as you age.
While certainly not a complete eye care dictionary, the EyeGlass Guide Glossary covers many of the common eye care conditions, terms and technology you'll commonly discuss with your eye care professional.
We believe that providing quality eye care to our patients is a two-way street, so please let us know where we can make improvements or what kind of services you would like to see in the future.
Your feedback is important to us.
