The mission of The Eye Care Center of New Jersey (ECC) Optometry Residency Program in primary eye care/ocular disease is to provide an intense, comprehensive didactic and clinical training program that prepares the optometrist to achieve advanced clinical competencies.
This advanced training program in primary eye care/ocular disease will enable the resident to diagnose and manage patients with a variety of complex, challenging ocular conditions and ocular manifestations of systemic disease and will provide the foundation for career long learning in the future advancement of optometry.

Jonathan Ditkoff, M.D., practices general ophthalmology.
He specializes in surgical correction of refractive errors, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism through laser vision correction procedures, which reshape the cornea using the excimer laser.

Dr. Gould is a cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, with membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
He is also a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist.

Dr. Conroy's experience includes a residency at the Lyons Veterans Administration Medical Center of New Jersey.
He also served an optometric internship at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he provided primary and emergency care and managed the Institute's glaucoma and post-operative cataract patients.
